Meet Your Coach

Ann Zaprazny is a mental performance coach, a former two sport DI athlete, and the founder of Great Sports Minds LLC.  

Her motivation:  I wish I knew these skills when I was an athlete.  Everyone physically trains.  Few invest and are taught mental performance skills - which are coping skills that help you in life and sports. 

Ann is a former Fortune 500 executive who holds a MS in Sports Science with a concentration in Sports Psychology.

She is a member of the Applied Association of Sports Psychology, mentored under Dr. Patrick Cohn of Peak Performance (2015) and George Mumford, the author of the Mindful Athlete and Unlocked (2022- 2024). 

Ann is a certified trainer for the Positive Coaching Alliance, which required current clearances, and is insured.

Mental Performance Training is just like physical training.  You have to do the work to learn the skills. 

The daily work is about 10 to 15 minutes a day to really begin to transform your mindset and develop your skill set. 

Our Champion Mindset Program is perfect for the MOTIVATED field hockey player who wants to learn the proven techniques of ELITE athletes to transform their mindset. 

The program is most appropriate for High School, College and Adult Athletes. 

Coaches interested in learning more about the mental game and how they can improve the performance of their athletes are welcome to participate as well.
